PLYMOUTH Argyle's new head coach Ian Foster has thanked fans for the welcome he has received since his appointment after he got a loud ovation from the Green Army when he was introduced on the pitch by Argyle owner and chairman Simon Hallett before the FA Cup third round tie against Sutton United at a packed Home Park on Saturday.
"It was magical, to be honest," said Foster. "It was really heart-warming. I think the response to my appointment has been really positive and I would like to thank everybody for that.
"It was genuinely lovely to walk out on the pitch and get an ovation like that. It means the world."
