A NEW crematorium is set to open in Plymouth next month, and it will offer new facilities for the public.
Building work has been completed at The Park, on Haye Road. Designs have been inspired by the surrounding landscape, and Plymouth limestone has been used.
The 'light and airy' ceremony rooms look out on to water. The site will also have a new café, which will be open to serve refreshments for people attending funerals, for those visiting the site to pay their respects and for passers-by.
