Restaurant shuts after just two years

A PLYMOUTH restaurant is to close less than two years after opening and move to Bristol.

The Canadian-themed The Kickin' Caribou eatery, on Mutley Plain, has told customers it is its final week in operation and cited difficult trading conditions for hospitality businesses.

Bosses said they were planning to relocate to Bristol but the restaurant's food would still be available in Plymouth on delivery. They also said a sit-down restaurant may even return to the city in the future.
