The A38 at Notter Bridge has been identified in recent safety studies as being the site of significant percentage of rain-related collisions, and the new scheme will refurbish the highway drainage system and mitigate further flooding on land close to the River Lynher.
The investment, which will bring both safety and environmental benefits, has been funded through National Highways’ Environment and Wellbeing fund.
