The craze for the fifty-over format has declined since the introduction of domestic T20 leagues and the ICC World Test Championship. A host of experts and cricketers, including Aakash Chopra, Wasim Akram, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Usman Khawaja, have admitted that the ODI is dying and should be revamped or stopped. ICC cleared the air around the one-day cricket and said they treat all three formats equally. Nonetheless, within a year, India will host the fifty-over World Cup, where players will look to register new records. Recently, Australia's David Warner scored his 44th international century as an opener and is just one short of equalling the great Sachin Tendulkar.
