With the T20 World Cup in Australia, one-day cricket took a backseat in 2022 as teams were busy preparing for the ICC event Down Under. Still, Team India ended up playing 24 ODIS in the year, winning 14 and losing eight. Australia played 17 matches, of which they won 11 and lost six. Looking at New Zealand's stats, they produced impressive numbers, winning 10 and losing only four. Among other major sides, defending World Cup champions England played 12, of which they won five and lost six. Pakistan had a terrific 2022 in ODIS, winning all but one of their nine games. South Africa won six of 12 matches, and Sri Lanka six of 11. There were some amazing performances from players across teams in 2022. On that basis, we tried to pick the ODI dream team of the year.
