COOL COLEY ENSURES RACE FOR SAFETY GOES TO WIRE

JOSH Coley gave rock-bottom Sutton a survival lifeline as Yellows boss Steve Morison admitted they now had “seven cup finals” between them and staying in League Two.

Morison lauded his struggling side after what was a crucial relegation dogfight victory at Forest Green Rovers.

“Confidence with boys is fantastic and I thought we were better from the start of the game through to the end of the game,” he said. “It was an excellent performance, I was really pleased to get a clean sheet and win the game.

“We’ve now got seven cup finals and all we can do is just keep trying to tick them off. We will lose a couple of players for international duty, which is really frustrating.”

Morison heaped praise on matchwinner Coley, adding: “I’m really pleased for Josh. He’s been a tremendous professional since I’ve come through the door and I left him out a few weeks back and he’s come back in and I’m really pleased and really proud.”
