Idris Odutayo's second-half free-kick proved to be the winner, meanwhile.
"It was tough for both teams, it was a horribly, windy, disgusting game with no quality for either team," said Woodman.
"The game could have gone either way, it was a lottery.
"We defended quite well when we had to, but neither side created much but the headline is we got a win and that's the most important thing.
