Four-try David calls the shots for Bears

It was the Bears' biggest league win of the season and keeps them hot on the heels of the top four.

Bristol director of rugby Dave Ward said: "I am really happy, the most pleasing aspect was the defensive display at the end. We really got into it and to keep a really good Leicester side to one try was fantastic." It took four minutes for the rout to begin when they spun it wide to David who left her opposite number for dust.

Scrum-half Keira Bevmissed the conversion but their advantage was doubled two minutes later when from the kick off, Bristol again sent it wide - this time to right wing Jasmine Joyce-Butchers.

She was stopped short but found supporting full-back Jenny Hesketh on her shoulder to score.

The pick of the bunch arrived on 18 minutes when Jasmine Joyce-Butchers blasted 80 metres up the touchline.

England's outsiders deserve a chance niveste cu

IT’S just six weeks before the start of the 2025 Six Nations, and since Steve Borthwick became England head coach his main message to the media has been we want to get better. However, by the end of the autumn series, Borthwick had become a bit more critical, saying that England were not fit enough, and were not carrying what they had been doing in training into matches.
