Scarlets haven’t won in the city since October 2017 but looked well set to do so when they led 19-8 but two yellow-cards and two missed penalties ultimately proved crucial.
Scarlets head coach Dwayne Peel said: “We were in a commanding position at half-time but we let it slip, slowly but surely we lost momentum.”
Scarlets were outscored by three tries to one but still looked the sharper side behind the scrum with new recruit from Nottingham, Ellis Mee, looking a decent signing and a polished performance from Ioan Lloyd which makes one wonder how he is presently not a member of the national squad.
