The alliance is over as the Beckhams shun the Sussexes for good

Three years ago, the Duchess of Sussex was rarely seen at an important event without a Victoria Beckham design on her back. The dress-alike twosome had forged what was considered to be one of the most powerful friendships in showbiz, gushing about one another at every opportunity, with the Beckhams even offering Meghan refuge at their Los Angeles home.

BECKHAMS BETRAYED 

However, in a similar fashion to the demise of the royal Fab Four, the alliance wasn't to last long. After reports about Meghan and Victoria's friendship started circulating in the press, paranoid Prince Harry is rumoured to have confronted David in a tense phone call.

"The sad thing is they did everything they could to welcome Meghan into British society," an insider spills. "Victoria gave Meghan whatever she wanted, from opening up her contacts book to giving her free clothes."

Royal biographer Tom Bower says things between the powerful couples came to a head during the Australian royal tour in 2018. David, 48, and Victoria, 49, had been invited to join Harry, 38, at the Invictus Games, only for Harry to completely ignore David when he arrived.
