I denne utgaven

Springtime is usually a positive time. An end to the cold and dark days. But since our last issue, major events in Eastern Europe have bumped even a pandemic from global headlines.
When journalists are beginning to utter words like ‘cold war’ and ‘nuclear missiles’, words we hoped never to hear again, one can tell things are getting serious. The conflict will, in time, affect everyone. Regional/potential global conflict is already affecting fuel costs. Next winter may be colder than usual in Europe. If this war continues, food prices may spiral further as wheat crops in Ukraine may go unharvested later in the year.
It feels rather inappropriate, therefore, to be talking
about issues such as burnout at work, or how local government is the way we can fight climate change on a local level whilst a major superpower is rampaging across a neighbouring country, but the magazine must go on.
Ramadan during the pandemic was a new experience for us all, but may have changed the way we celebrate for good, and we have an article that investigates this issue. We also look at the future of work and how hybrid working is now all the rage in some sectors.
Stay safe.
