I dette nummeret

In this issue, we’re taking a look back at the World Cup Finals, at how good this competition was and at how some teams were over dependent on one player, something that’s becoming more common in world football than it probably should. We also have a piece on a team from Gibraltar, Europa Point, set up to give young players who can’t find a clubs a second chance. In a game where there’s a lot of greed and shattered ambition, they are doing something truly worthwhile.

We've also taken a look at the Malky MacKay situation, and how it reflects wider problems within the football world.

This magazine is mostly about Scotland though, and about the game here, and so much of our focus in on that. We have a great piece from Tony Begley, about how Armageddon was averted and why that was so important. We have a piece from Mark O’Sullivan, an Irishman living in England, who looks at those rare and beautiful occasions when Scottish teams put their clubs in their place.

We have a piece from Tartan Army regular John Bleasdale, on how the resurrection of our national team under Gordon Strachan has resulted in an outrageous ticket price hike by the SFA. We have a piece by Matthew Marr, on the Battle of the Leagues, to see whether the SPL or the Championship provides the most entertainment, and we hear from Michael Woods of Supporters Direct Scotland, an organisation which wants to help fans organise, and influence policy at their clubs. We have a fantastic piece on the juniors game, and an article about how some Celtic fans need to learn that not every criticism of the club is a bad thing.

Finally, we have a feature on a genuine legend in the game, and a good man to boot, Raith Rovers Ally Gourley, who we wish all the best in his battle against cancer.

All In The Game Description:

All In The Game is a new magazine about Scottish football, written by and for the fans.

The game in Scotland is facing unprecedented challenges. We believe that not only can it weather these storms but that it can thrive in spite of them. Fans have begun to re-engage again, not only following their teams but taking a role in trying to reform them.

This magazine is dedicated to helping them with that task.
