Introducing: The fifth issue of Creative IMAGE Magazine, which is based on the theme of ‘Wildlife! We present the surrealistic and ambitious project of Nick Brandt which strives to present wildlife of East Africa in a way which mirrors the concerns it faces in today’s industrial development minded world. In the special feature, we aim to showcase the diversity of wildlife across the world along with the manifold issues that plague them today – from exploitation of their habitats to extinction of their species. We look at the 40 year long career of Rajesh Bedi and how his love for the animals combined with his relationship with the camera. This issue provides a preview into Valmik Thapar’s latest offering – a set of three books chronicling the diversity of India’s wildlife through photographs as well as text by some well-known names.
