The Volume 02 Issue 05 of the Creative IMAGE Magazine, a Raghu Rai Publication, commemorates the 70 years of India’s independence with this dedicated issue titled ‘India at 70.’ This issue reminiscences the wielding of a nation building before and after independence. Including works of photographers such as Henri Cartier Bresson, Raghu Rai and Kishor Parekh, we bring to you events and individuals from these past 70 years that were catalytic in influencing the psyche and sentiment of our nation. From the Bharat Yatra of Mahatma Gandhi to the current condition in Kashmir, from the partition of the Nation to the wars of the 60s and 70s; the blossoming of the art scenes and seismic political shifts, our tragedies, our strengths, our togetherness, we cover it all. Also featured in this issue are Homai Vyarawalla, Jyoti Bhatt, TS Satyan, Richard Bartholomew, Madan Mahatta, Pablo Bartholomew, Ram Rahman, Swapan Parekh, Nitin Rai, Prashant Panjiar, Pushpmala N and more. Through our #creativeimagemagazine on Instagram, we feature young talented photgraphers with exemplary skills and a passion for photography and our social media showcase called ‘Nurturing Young Minds features some of these photographs in each of our issue which are different and portray the essense of the subject.

A 100-page bi-monthly art photography publication, filled with a host of features and opinion articles, on the aesthetics of photography.
Photography is one of the youngest forms of creative expression, and has seen quite a few changes in its relatively short maturing period. The purpose of Creative Image is to pick up photographs and bodies of work that are intuitive, well-explored, eloquent and offer a look inwards, as well as outwards.
The bi-monthly magazine, produced by Raghu Rai, one of India's most renowned photographers and the first Indian to become an associated of the celebrated Magnum Photos, will look at contemporary, emerging artists as well
as legendary names. Each issue will
be thematic and will largely cover work produced in the Indian subcontinent. There will also be showcases of works
by one master photographer from Asia, and one master from the West, along with conceptual, nature, landscape, abstract and experimental photographers from around the world.
