Meeting David Blue for the first time feels like getting reacquainted with an old friend. He’s instantly engaged and his neighborly demeanor creates a welcoming space. At this point, it doesn’t even feel like I’m here to interview him, but more to have a nice afternoon chat over coffee.

Cortney Chyme

Buffalo was once a national hotspot for performance arts, and with the recent resurgence of the city, the entertainment community is once again growing into prominence. One of those up-and-coming multitalented performers is CORTNEY CHYME. After growing up in nearby Youngstown, New York, Cortney has made an impact as one of Buffalo’s top female vocal talents, and boasts an impressive array of dance performance credits as well, including performances at The World’s Largest Disco, and performing for Jim Kelly’s Kelly for Kids Foundation. Currently she is a standing board member of Dance Days of Buffalo, a local foundation with a goal of developing the dance community, and dance performance opportunities for young performers.
