Sometimes there are bits of trivia you come across that seem too crazy to be true. Hands up who knew that Porsche used to make tractors?
More popular on the Continent, and in Germany in particular, Porsche tractors have something in common with their car counterparts — an unmistakable look. Once you’ve seen one, you’ll never mistake it for another tractor. It has a bonnet unlike any other. The beautiful, soft curves catch the light in a way you’d expect from a sports car.
Porsche tractors had a relatively short production run. They were produced from 1937 until 1963. But in those 26 years the company produced more than 50 different models, including one-, two-, three- and four-cylinder tractors with power ranging from 14 to 55Hp.
