If there’s one great thing about being an artist during lockdown, it is that we have our talent and creativity to keep us occupied. I had paper, I had paints and, crucially, I had time. The drawback, of course, is that we are forced to stay indoors and look for our own inspiration. After painting my dog, the view from my window and plenty of still life, I wanted something different – a subject I hadn’t tackled before.
