This super-scale street machine is ready for driveway DTM action

Ask any RC’er who’s been around the block once or twice to name the brand that makes the most realistic models based on full-size on-road racers, and they’ll likely say “Tamiya.” And for sure, Tamiya has earned it. But another brand that isn’t as well known for scale race cars (but should be) certainly gives The Big T a run for the money: Carisma. As you can see, the Audi RS5 DTM pictured here is a real stunner, with every crease, curve, spoiler, and wing perfectly represented. There’s even an included LED light set, but you’ll need to install that yourself. Otherwise, all the painting, assembling, and decaling is handled at the factory. Under the Audi lid, you’ll find Carisma’s M40S chassis. It’s a pretty typical shaft-drive tourer, but it does have a few interesting details—take a look. TESTING
