Actually, chromodynamics is something about the colour property of quarks, antiquarks and gluons, whatever they are? I just liked the word; it made a nice title...
A couple of issues ago, issue 92 to be precise, we ran a shop tour for Van Haven. I described how it was unusual for me to visit a company and not really know that much about them prior to my arrival. I’d heard of them, of course, we’d even featured a couple of vans that were supplied by them, but that was about it. When I rocked up at Van Haven in Dorset, I was impressed by what I found.
On the forecourt was this stunning yellow Kombi and after a brief nose round the bus, I just knew we had to feature it. It turned out that this bus was the first of their now trademark ‘Haven 6TT’ Kombis. For the uninitiated, which included me up till that point, a Haven 6TT is a stylish Kombi upgrade that can be purchased off the shelf from them, like this one, or it can be a menu-based design choice that you make in conjunction with Van Haven, when you order a van from them. As they have been in charge of the option choices, they have pretty much thrown everything at it, including, rather splendidly, a kitchen sink, more on that later.
