Epicor’s Regional Vice President for Asia, Vincent Tang, tells Business Today about how to get customers to say ‘yes’ to technology that will help grow their business

Small and Medium-sized Enteprises, or SMEs, as they’re more commonly known, are often off the radar when industry experts talk about technological innovation and adoption, but for some, SMEs present a lucrative and fruitful business opportunity, not just for long-term partnerships, but also for reflected glory.

For instance, for Epicor, a global UK-based organization that has imprints in Europe, the Middle East, the ANZ region and, importantly, in Asia, working on the digitization of SMEs has been a revealing journey.

Vincent Tang, Regional Vice-President, Asia, who has spent 19 years with business solutions provider Epicor, tells Business Today of the challenges and high points when talking about the digitization of SMEs and the importance of businesses having the right technology.

Tang, a UK-educated graduate in Computer Science who resides in Hong Kong but often jets to London to meet with Epicor’s senior leadership team there, is lucid and knowledgeable about both customer needs and organizational growth and success.
