A. Dear Nidhi, We would like to congratulate you on your wise decision to start investing at such an early age. Assuming no liabilities at your age, we suggest you keep 100% exposure in Equity Mutual Funds. You may start the SIPs in Large-Cap, Mid-Cap & Multi-cap Equity funds.
The recommended funds in these categories are as follows
Large Cap: ICICI Prudential Bluechip Equity Fund/ Mirae Asset Large Cap Fund
Mid Cap: Invesco India Mid Cap Fund/ Tata Mid Cap Fund/ Kotak Emerging Equity Fund
Multi-Cap: Canara Robeco Equity Diversified Fund/ Motilal Oswal Multi-Cap 35 Fund

( 3 ) Have over Rs. 29 Lakhs balance in my P..P.F. account and contributing Rs.1,50,000/-per annum.
( 4 ) Have around a balance of Rs. 16 Lakhs in my General Provident Fund Account.
( 5 ) Invested Rs. 15 Lakhs in Tax-Free Bonds.
( 6 ) Have taken a Mediclaim of Rs. 15 Lakhs from M/s. New India Assurance Co. Ltd.
