This is why you need In2IT Technologies, a company with the capacity and services to ensure businesses integrate new-age technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to transform the business ecosystem.
Leadership Magazine sat with the Co-Founder and Group Chief Technology Officer, Mr Vishal Barapatre who shared intricate details of his and the company’s journey up the ladder of success. Taking the liberty to reveal information that businesses across South Africa need to know about how they can use multiple technologies to their advantage.
Barapatre has more than 25 years of experience in the field of IT, specialising in network and telecom. This extensive knowledge was not acquired overnight, Barapatre began his journey in IT when it was still an upcoming field. When he started, he had a degree in Electronics and Communication, initially in the space of Networking and Telecom, he describes just how much he was excited about OEM’s like Cisco, Nortel, AT&T.
“As an engineer it was always exciting to learn, find or create a project that I could implement, before most people or companies brought it to life. During the course of my journey, I expanded to other technologies beyond network and slowly graduated to becoming a solution architect. This involves creating a solution by bringing multiple technologies together. I eventually started drafting ideas beyond technologies and became more driven by business. As the CTO for In2IT Technologies, I now have a free hand to create products and use technologies which are unique in either value, technology, business benefits or in terms of cost of ownership for our customers,” he explains.

Artificial Intelligence
Is artificial intelligence reinventing insurance? This was the question posed by Bill Hoggarth, national sales manager, Digital Business Solutions at high performing and secure ICT solutions provider, Datacentrix. He was speaking at the recent Robotics, Drones and AI in Insurance Conference, held in Rosebank, Johannesburg. In answer to the question, Hoggarth clarified that no, he did not believe artificial intelligence (AI) was changing the nature of insurance–at least, not on its own. “My view is that AI is not reinventing insurance, but that it is part of the mix of technologies that is causing a shift in insurance today,” he said.
