From video editing, DJ-ing, graphic design, and software development, the two schoolmates are looking to help brands connect with esports fans and entertainment in a new format.
Turning Video Games Into Big Business

Esports is a global phenomenon, a business worth US$1.1 billion in 2020, a year-on-year growth of 15.7 percent. With audiences in lockdown across Asia and the world, people are hungry for content, and esports is well-placed to provide it.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START IMPLS ENTERTAINMENT?

Matt: While Nikhil and I have always been lifelong gamers, we never discussed doing something together until recently. My first introduction to esports was probably around 2000-2001 when a close friend introduced me to Counter-Strike. But it was only during university studying video game design did I start to seriously consider entering the esports space.
