During his two decades working in the property industry, Paul Craig has certainly learned a great deal. However, there’s one piece of advice that’s stuck with him in recent years. “Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others,” he says. Paul has worked at Savills Australia and New Zealand since 2002 and became CEO in 2016. In this role, he is focused on developing his employees and helping them achieve their goals, while also ensuring the team puts their clients at the centre of everything they do.
“We believe in our people. I try to instil an entrepreneurial spirit and ambition for continued growth within our employees,” Paul says. “At Savills, we do not strive to be the biggest, but we do aim to be the best, as judged by our clients. We have a strong culture that supports our employees. We have learned through experience that investing in our people will lead to better results for our clients too.”
