With Digital India campaign and the government focusing on digital payments it is the need of the hour to ensure that government services are made available to citizens electronically by improving digital infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity.
RailTel is an integral part of the Digital India initiative, being one of the implementing agency of various national projects like BharatNet (NOFN), National Knowledge Network (NKN), etc., which envisages to develop sustainable digital infrastructure to the unconnected regions/ rural India.
