PRINCESS DIANA was lured to her death by a twisted dirty tricks campaign orchestrated by the palace, GLOBE has learned in an explosive world exclusive.

Acting at the direction of Queen Elizabeth’s hard-case husband, Prince Philip, British intelligence officers “mounted a clever operation to drive Prince Charles’ emotionally fragile wife to the breaking point,” a royal source says. “They knew she was frantic, suicidal, and vulnerable and played on her worst fears.”

Diana’s own brother, Charles Spencer, has also broken a 25-year silence to expose a plot against the People’s Princess!

In a damning dossier, the 56-year-old British earl reveals forged documents and a whisper campaign hinting at treacherous betrayals fueled her paranoia, desperation and despair and pushed her into a decision that ultimately cost her life.

“Diana was no match for the plot designed to entrap her,” charges the high-level royal source. “She was like a lamb to the slaughter.”

Spencer is suggesting BBC journalist Martin Bashir, who wanted to interview the princess for the popular news show Panorama, was a key player. But sources in the intelligence community indicate the journalist was a patsy, who didn’t know he was being used by MI5 agents!
