As I scrolled through Instagram, my eyes were drawn to one particular star’s profile. To me, Kim Kardashian had the just perfect figure.

I couldn’t help but stare at her curvy bum and tiny waist in her many images.

‘What I wouldn’t give for that body, I sighed.

It was July 2014 and despite being just 23, I’d already had a boob job, inflating my breasts to a C cup, plus, Botox, lip fillers and laser treatment on my skin.

I was slim, and I liked my figure for the most part, but there was one procedure I longed for – I was desperate to change my flat, unattractive bottom. Time and time again I’d find myself searching for bum implants on the internet, but the surgery needed seemed to be so expensive.

Determined not to give up on my dream, I finally found a clinic in Belgium that could do the operation for half the price I’d been quoted in the UK.

I used my savings to pay the £3,450 for the operation in advance, then I set to work saving for the travel costs, raising funds by doing bits of modelling work.

At a consultation before the operation, I begged the surgeon for his biggest implants, but he refused, saying I was too slight for anything larger than 350cc – just 5cc more than my breast implants.

Voluptuous goal

As I waited for surgery day to come around, I became obsessed with having the perfect bum.

Whenever I saw a woman with a voluptuous, round behind, I felt a pang of envy. I knew I’d never truly be happy with my appearance until I had achieved that look for myself. And, on the day of my operation, as I lay on the hospital bed, I wasn’t scared. Instead, I was excited.
