GET GOBBY WITH BOBBY! - ‘I'd love to do the jungle'

It’s fair to say that my girl Tanya Bardsley hasn’t had the easiest of times recently. As well as dealing with the natural ups and downs of nearly a year of lockdowns, The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star had to self-isolate for six weeks, when various members of her family, herself included, came down with coronavirus.

“Oh my God, it’s been a nightmare. We’ve all had it!” she tells me during our chat.

The 37-year-old, who’s married to footballer Phil, 35, has become a good pal of mine after we met during filming for Celebs On The Ranch in 2019.

As well as lots of laughs on the trip, Tanya had to be airlifted to hospital before my own eyes after falling off a horse!

She admits she still feels the effects of her accident, which resulted in a cracked pelvis, three fractures and chipped bones on her back.

“I’ll always have problems with it,” she admits. “But at least I can walk! There was one point where I thought I wasn’t going to be able to.”

When I catch up with Tan, who’s mum to Gabriella, 18, Rocco, 11, Renz, seven, and four-year-old Ralphi, we talk all things family life and the dreaded homeschooling.

Here, the reality TV star opens up on contracting coronavirus, lockdown struggles and filming The Real Housewives under restrictions...

Hi Tan! How has the last year been for you?
