After two years of planning and even cancellations, Holly Hagan and Jacob Blyth are over the moon to have finally said “I do”.
Although it’s been a long time coming, it quickly becomes obvious their romantic wedding was well worth the wait. The bash took place on the rooftop at the stunning Aguas de Ibiza hotel in Ibiza earlier this month, and the newlyweds exchanged their vows in front of 56 of their closest family and friends.
Their marriage was an emotional event full of unexpected tears, hilarious speeches, personalised vows, three outfit changes, singing mermaids and a gravy fountain with Yorkshire puddings.
Speaking while still on their honeymoon on the White Isle, the reality star and the footballer can’t stop smiling as they reflect on their nuptials. “It was such a magical experience,” Holly tells us, lighting up. “On that day I can’t tell you how I felt, it was crazy,” Jacob, 29, adds.
The location of Ibiza holds a special place in their hearts. The couple met there five years ago, with Jacob even popping the question at a beach club on the Balearic island two years later.
As for how the day panned out, it kicked off with the tearful ceremony, followed by a luxurious three-course meal. Next up was their first dance to Like I’m Gonna Lose You, sung by former X Factor star Grace Davies. The celebrations ended with a huge party, combined with, best of all, a free bar!
Although the former Geordie Shore star, 29, who was joined by her co-stars Charlotte Crosby, Sophie Kasaei and Nathan Henry to celebrate her marriage, is known for getting “mortal” on the MTV show, she tells us that “everyone was on a good level”.
