And while the couple have continued to maintain a glossy picture of togetherness in public and on social media, their best efforts have done nothing to stem a tide of rumours that the relationship is on its last legs.

The mood was tense as the pair attended the Kent and Curwen show at London Fashion Week on June 10, with British Vogue’s editor in-chief Edward Enninful seated awkwardly between them.
