More than a year since she split from Brad Pitt, nothing is playing out the way Angelina Jolie thought it would. The 42-year-old, who filed for divorce on September 19 last year, is still attempting to pick up the pieces of her once seemingly perfect life.

And while Ange insists she’s come out ‘a little bit stronger’ despite the ‘ups and downs’, it’s clear the slender star is still struggling, with her appearance shocking fans at Deadline Hollywood’s The Contenders event in LA on November 4. ‘Her legs look painful, they are so thin,’ commented one fan. ‘She needs to gain at least 9kg to look healthy,’ added another.
