Tracy (far right) has a lot to deal with this fortnight and Mazwi (centre) is unable to help.
They saying goes that you never mix business with pleasure, and it’s a good rule to live by. But what if past pleasures come to complicate new business? That’s the dilemma media moguls Mazwi (Musa Ngema) and Tracy (Zizipho Buti) find themselves in as Tracy’s life as a high-end escort comes crashing through the door.
SCANDALOUS!
Tracy’s sex-worker days were known to a select few individuals, but she’s made sure to keep that part of her past away from the boardroom at new company Moroka Media. Sadly, someone’s unwanted snooping has exposed Tracy’s secret and it’s not just Tracy’s reputation on the line – Mazwi gets dragged into this mess when his name pops up as one of her loyal subscribers on a sultry OnlyFans-esque social platform called For The Arts. “She’s mortified!” reveals Zizipho. “Not because she’s embarrassed of her past, but she worries what this will mean for Moroka Media.”
The Moroka Media offices are in a spin. “It’s a PR crisis and no one knows how to make it go away,” says Zizipho. “It’s not a good look for the new company…” In fact, it’s such an ugly smear on Mazwi’s young brand that his partner Fikile (Refilwe Madumo) urges Mazwi to send Tracy packing – but he refuses. “There’s a strong sense of loyalty there,” the actress explains.
