No one likes to be side-lined, especially not Zitha (Zoe Mthi-yane). She has been treated as an outsider all her life, looking on as her devious hubby Jack Mabaso (Vusi Kunene) plays dangerous games with dangerous people. But Zitha has had her fill of simply sitting pretty and doing as she’s told. She wants in on the corporate action – except, Jack will have none of it.
MEDDLING IN MATTERS
Besides the trouble of how she’s going to establish herself as a businesswoman, Zitha has another problem on her hands: Tshidi (Letoya Makhene). After a year in hiding in Mozambique, Tshidi made her shocking return in June with a surprise – her son with Jack is still alive and in the safe hands of a caretaker at an undisclosed location where no one can find him and use him as leverage. Now Tshidi is dangling the prospect of Jack finally seeing his son in front of his nose and it rubs Zitha up the wrong way. “She’s not so much intimated by Tshidi, but rather by Tshidi’s son Kefentse (different babies are used to play the child). Jack is obsessed with his son and finding the heir to his empire,” explains Zoe. “Zitha doesn’t want to raise Tshidi’s baby. She wants her life with Jack to remain as it is.”
