The busy suburb of Ruiterbosch is about to turn into a war-zone with Kaashifa (Jaawahier Petersen) at the centre. Her ex-boyfriends Imraan (Marlo Minnaar) and Junaid (Hein Poole) both want to reconcile with her! Oos-Wes chef Kaashifa tried to make peace with her single life after her and Imraan’s engagement fell apart in September when Imraan got cold feet. But now he’s back and makes it clear that he still has feelings for her. And just when it looks like Kaashi is falling for Imraan again, Junaid shows up out of the blue and asks her for another chance! Who is she going to choose?
AN UNCOMFORTABLE MEETING
“Imraan suffered after his relationship with Kaashifa ended and he decided to return to his hometown of Beaufort West,” explains Marlo. “But he realised that he needed to return to Ruiterbosch because apart from being beneficial to his career as a pharmacy technician, he misses Kaashifa terribly.” So when Imraan heard that AB (Cedwyn Joel) needed his services at his pharmacy, he hurried to Ruiterbosch.
Kaashifa isn’t ready to see her ex though. “She runs into him at the pharmacy and things are uncomfortable, but secretly it’s nice to see him,” Jawaahier reveals. Imraan still makes Kaashi’s heart leap, but because she doesn’t want to get hurt again, she makes sure to give Imraan wide berth and protect her feelings. Later at their mutual friend Ty’s (Maurice Paige) braai, Kaashifa makes excuses and a quick, polite exit when Imraan arrives.
