Six years into her relationship with Los Angeles-based photographer Bryan Randall, Sandra Bullock gave fans a rare glimpse into their lowkey love-life while appearing on the Facebook Watch chat show Red Table Talk. “I am someone who went through the divorce process. I found the love of my life … It’s the best thing ever,” she said, responding to a viewer question about remarriage at the end of the episode. “I don’t wanna say do it like I do it, but I don’t need a paper to be a devoted partner and devoted mother. I don’t need to be told to be ever present in the hardest of times. I don’t need to be told to weather a storm with a good man.”

Bullock knows a thing or two about weathering hard times. She found herself in the middle of a media storm in 2010 when, just days after taking home the Best Actress Academy Award on March 7, news broke that her husband of nearly five years, Jesse James, had been cheating on her with multiple women. Months later it was revealed the couple had been in the process of secretly adopting a son together. After they separated, Bullock finalised the adoption of son Louis, now 11, as a single mum.
