XGIMI Halo+ Projector

IF YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT switching up your living room rig or want to move away from a traditional display, choosing a projector is certainly one way to do it. It isn't the easiest transition to make projectors don't generally offer the same high-quality image that you'd expect from a 4K monitor or TV set but, slowly and surely, the quality is improving.

Of course, the projector has a few other factors to contend with, such as the need to block out sunlight and the practicality of mounting a projector to a ceiling, but a range of powerful and altogether more portable devices have entered the market that could make owning a projector a viable option. One such device is the XGIMI Halo+. Does it achieve its goal, or is this projection inaccurate?

The most obvious feature of the Halo+is its size. This box-like device is far smaller than a conventional projector, making it a more convenient piece of tech to have in your home. When creating an area to use a projector in, you want as little clutter as possible to make the experience more immersive and, by shrinking the form factor down, XGIMI has achieved this. It's small enough to sit on a shelf at the back of the room and portable enough to offer flexibility in terms of its placement. The base features a tripod mount and a tiny kickstand that raises the front of the projector and also helps stabilize it.
