Sonos speakers have long been the benchmark for ease of use and sound quality in multi-room audio. However, the company has never produced a mobile, battery-powered speaker with Bluetooth – until now. At last, Sonos fans get a speaker that can be picked up and moved wherever you like, with no need for a mains extension lead.
Design and build
At 240mm tall and 3kg, the Sonos Move is big and heavy for a portable speaker. You can lug it into the garden but you probably aren’t going to want to pack it in a suitcase and take it on holiday.
