Bangkok On Vistara
Hospitality Food & Wine|Mid September 3019 Year 2 Issue 9
Vistara, premium full-service carrier and a JV of Tata and Singapore Airlines, just launched its daily service to Bangkok, Thailand, the third global destination in its network.
Bangkok On Vistara

Vistara will now fly everyday between Delhi and Bangkok, and will be the only airline to offer the option of Premium Economy class for travel between India and Thailand, in addition to Business and Economy class. Vistara celebrated the event with all the patrons on the opening flight. To make their experience similarly memorable, the airline offered a gift bag of souvenirs and chocolates. The Tourism Authority of Thailand stretched an old-style Thai welcome to all Vistara patrons too.

COMFORT BEGINS BEFORE BOARDING IF YOU FLY VISTARA! Check in is a priority red-carpet treatment. Without much ado, I slip into my curvaceous, cushioned reclining chair. I am promptly offered a glass of refreshing beverage options, I go for the Jamun. A movie buff get cosy and immediately dig into the entertainment system. I am certainly impressed with the Vistara World app and watch a movie on the complimentary wireless inflight entertainment service, featuring newscasts, the latest movies, TV shows etc. and it sure catered to the picky individualism of the business or leisure traveller. I get up in between for my meal which reflects a variety of gourmet international dishes to take fine dining in the air to a completely new level. Soon, it is time for landing and I want an English Breakfast Tea. No request is too much trouble for the professional and attentive flight attendants and they really do go out of their way to make your journey as comfortable as possible. Absolutely refreshed and nourished perhaps to the point of being spoilt I reach Bangkok…all ready to explore. All in all, Vistara is an airline that I will be flying with again! Vistara has dependably elevated the bar for operations and service delivery in the Indian flying industry in a little span of less than five years.

The Rise of Jogi Bhat

Let me ask a serious question about Nepalese food. Most of us have grown up in households where left over rice has either been used to be served with hot milk or Bhuteko bhat with onions and local butter with a touch of turmeric.
