DO you have greenhouse envy? I know I’ve suffered from this on many occasions. You’ll often find me standing in a greenhouse at garden shows dreaming of all the plants I could grow if I had one – or, in my case, another one! I think it is fair to say that most gardeners would love a greenhouse, if space allows, as they are the beating heart of a garden.

Greenhouses, or glasshouses if you prefer, have come a long way in the past few years. It seems there are structures to suit nearly every site – and there’s no shortage of ideas for those with balconies, courtyards and small plots.
