How is a film set different from a television set?

When I go to a film set, I know exactly what I’m going to do because I receive the script much in advance. I prepare for the character. I spend a lot of time with the script, with the director and with the cast doing rehearsals. I tend not to talk much, just immerse myself in the scene. On the other hand, TV is spontaneous. And because there are last minute changes, there are too many surprises. I don’t mean TV is unorganized; it’s given me a lot.

Does the 24-hour deadline in a TV show affect the creativity of an artiste?

Both are different mediums. The expectations from the audience are different. Working back to back you do have to let go of a few details. Though I try to be as precise as possible. In films, you have to be careful about the graph of your actor.

Was modelling a stepping stone to acting?
