STORY SO FAR Toyah Batters by was heartbroken after her and Peter Barlow’s surrogate mum lost her baby. Then Eva Price learnt she was pregnant with former fiancé Aidan Connor’s baby, so she hatched a plan with Toyah.

Eva would keep her pregnancy a secret and, after the baby was born far away from Weather field, she’d give Toyah the child.

Peter, however, would remain clueless about the deception. Eva and Toyah’s half-sister, Leanne Batters by, and Aidan would also be kept out of the secret loop.

With a shaky scaffold of lies supporting the plan and with heavily pregnant Eva hiding away at a remote cottage, what could possibly go wrong? Answer: lots…

THIS WEEK Sneaky Simon Barlow’s already suspicious about Toyah and Eva’s plan, and he’s more curious when he finds paperwork about Eva’s cottage in Toyah’s car, which he’s ‘borrowed’.

‘At the cottage, meanwhile, Eva’s managed to lock herself in the bathroom without her phone – and she’s in labour!’ When Toyah arrives, she hears Eva’s panicked screams coming from inside the bathroom. So she breaks in and she calls 999 as Eva gives birth.
