What can you tell us about Infamy, the second season of The Terror?
It’s a very timeless series. It riffs on the horror stories that we tell, but it’s also a chapter of authentic American history, fused with the ancient ghost stories of Japan. It carries a lesson for us today because it’s being repeated time and time again.
Tell us about your character?
When Nobuhiro Yamato first came to America from Japan, he was a robust, athletic young man. Now he’s retired and is something of a respected elder. He spends his life as a raconteur, regaling everyone with tales of his youthful exploits. But when the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor in 1941, he is among those rounded up and sent into makeshift camps.
