'Jonathan's trying really hard to WIN!'

‘This is my first time doing the show with a full audience. When I joined The Masked Singer in series two, we had a restricted audience, then we had a virtual audience for The Masked Dancer.

‘But this time, we had a crowd, and it was great because they let you know if your guess is good!

‘The biggest surprise for me last year was Sue Perkins as Dragon. The show could have gone on for years and I don’t think any of us would ever have guessed Dragon’s identity. She was great – and a big surprise.

‘I’ve got to give props to the costume department for the things they’ve done this year. The costumes are already great, but some of them have features – they can do stuff now!

‘I don’t want to give too much away, but you’ll be blown away. My favourite costume is probably Robobunny, and Doughnuts is the one that makes me smile so much. I really like doughnuts, so when I first saw it, I found it funny.

‘What’s so nice about this show is that you have no idea who’s going to be on it. It could be your childhood heroes – people you’ve grown up watching on TV or whose music you listened to. It’s even better than meeting someone at a party or an awards show, because you’re like, “Wow, I’ve been watching you every week!”’
