Ironman icon Trevor Hendy couldn’t be prouder of his son TJ, who is making waves in the sporting world
Legendary six-time national Ironman champion Trevor Hendy has a very special reason to celebrate on Australia Day, knowing his eldest son TJ is following in his famous footsteps.
The father-and-son duo first paired up in 2015 to compete in the open men’s board rescue race at the national titles in Queensland – they crossed the line in first place. No one – least of all Trevor and TJ – expected they would win– and it was a victory Trevor describes as the most precious in his 30-year career.
