Established 14 years ago, the Biannual Max Mara Art Prize for Women, organized in collaboration with the Whitechapel Gallery, has selected the London-based artist Helen Cammock (b. 1970) as the seventh winner of the prize. Cammock spent six months in Italy last year on a residency, creating a new body of work that is being shown in a major solo exhibition at the Whitechapel Gallery, before heading to Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia, Italy
