Tell me about International Coaching Week (ICW)
This is an annual weeklong ICF event where members are invited to educate the public on the value of working with a professional coach and pro bono coaching is offered to people who cannot afford coaches or don't have access to coaching. It is a global event and is observed by all Chapters of ICF. This year, it will be held from the 29th of April to 5th of May. Our chapter has scheduled various activities with the aim of creating coaching visibility and awareness. We will kick off the week’s activities with a breakfast meeting at Gem’s Suites, on Riverside Drive.
After that, volunteer ICF coaches will go to the various institutions which have expressed interest in having our coaches visit their organizations to coach and educate them on the subject. On the last day, we will finish off with a cocktail evening to celebrate the week’s activities and to appreciate our members.
