All it took SURILY DP GOEL to return to her passion after a two-year-long break was sage advice from her closest friend. Vogue talks to the designer about phase two.
There was a time when Surily DP Goel was a regular staple in the party pages—either in person or by way of her clothes—until she decided to take a step back. “I spent 10-15 years working really hard—doing movies, ads, fashion—through my twenties and midthirties, I didn’t really have any balance,” says Goel about the first phase in her career, shuddering at her exhausting pace of life back then.
