YOUR SHOULDERS ARE ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS THAT HUNCH AND TENSE AFTER A LONG DAY SITTING OR FEELING STRESSED. COUNTERACT THE SLUMP WITH THIS GENTLE SQUEEZE…
1 Stand up straight with your arms by your sides.
2 Squeeze your shoulder blades together behind you as hard as you can without causing discomfort. You’ll feel your upper back muscles engage. Remember not to arch your back to help with the movement, simply use your shoulder blades.
3 Hold this position for a count of five, then relax.
4 Repeat this exercise 10 times.
