Note about the paint
Many people try to print their fabrics using oil based fine art paints for lino printing. I have used acrylic screen printing ink or fabric paint for many years because it dries much quicker. Aquatex fabric paint is available in luminous colours and I used the rave pink for this project. This means that the pattern on this scarf will glow under UV light. These rave colours are UV active if applied to a light coloured surface.
This is the method I used...

Braai Culture
We South Africans love to braai and it is a fundamental part of who we are! This braai sauce and spice caddy with matching firelighter holder is perfect for keeping your braai area neat and tidy. Not only that - they make great Father's Day gifts.
Happy Mother's Day! - Painted Porcelain
I love recycling, reusing and redesigning any object and turn it into DIY gifts that are handmade with a Bohemian look. I am sure all of you have sets of plain porcelain mugs, saucer, pitchers, egg holders, plates, etc., just waiting to be doodled on and transformed into a work of art! In this project I will explain how to use porcelain pens. I love doodling and these porcelain pens give me much more control than paints. No pattern included for this project - create your own free-hand geometric and organic patterns.
Primitive Folk Art Doll
I have always been attracted to anything "Folksie" and enjoy doing punch needle art, making dolls - including Ithose weird little Primitive Folk Art Dolls. Although I have heard some people comment that they are ugly, I like their unique little faces and funny bodies! Primitive Folk Art style is a very characteristic art form, usually having a rough, simple look to them that suggests a lack of formal artistic training.

If You Build It, They Will Come!
Imagine a space where money has no worth and the currency is your Talent. Where children roam free range, safely. All the adults are care givers and the forest gang of dogs is adored by all as they run wild. There are free hugs, no inhibitions, peaceful living, meaningful connections, mindful consciousness, non-judgmental openness and LEARNING – an off grid creative energy space so tangible one can touch it. The day begins with yoga and meditation and as the sun sets the Clan emerge from the forest dust to The Circle of Dreams for a communal, harmonious thunder of a drum circle connecting dance and rhythm.
